Our Turmeric & Black Pepper Capsules provide a simple way to include turmeric in your daily routine. Simply take 1 capsule daily with water, preferably with a meal, or as advised by a healthcare professional.

Using the finest ingredients, these capsules are hand-made in our own labs at York Science Park. Each capsule provides 600mg of Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) powder, along with 5mg of Black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) extract, standardised to 95% piperine, to aid absorption.

Turmeric has long been valued not only as a culinary spice but also for its prominent role in traditional healing systems. It holds a rich heritage in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. One of Turmeric’s most active compounds is curcumin, the natural constituent responsible for its vibrant yellow colour.

The formulation uses carefully selected extracts for maximum benefits and is presented in a vegetable capsule, making it suitable for vegan diets. This product is intended for adults as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Piperine, the active constituent in Black Pepper, increases the absorption of Turmeric. Curcumin (from turmeric) can easily be metabolised and eliminated by the liver before it gets into the bloodstream, meaning most of the curcumin taken is wasted. Piperine inhibits this pathway, meaning more curcumin can reach the bloodstream and therefore increases its bioavailability.
